According to its recommended use, wrapping paper is divided into several types:
Grey wrapping paper – paper that is polished on one side and it is made of waste paper and it is suitable for packaging industrial products or for separating products in packages.
Thin sulphite wrapping paper – this paper is also made of waste paper, but is suitable for packaging small sized goods, or as a filling material for boxes.
Havana wrapping paper – paper that is made with minimal whiteness and it is polished on one side and it is particularly suitable for packaging food.
Paraffin paper – paper coated with paraffin wax on both sides; it is suitable for packaging metal products that already have packaging or anti-corrosion protection during storage or transport; it protects products against water and damage anti-corrosion coatings.
