Bubble wrap

Bubble wrap specifications

Bubble wraps are made of polyethylene, which has a low density. The standard bubble diameter is 9.5 – 10.0 mm, and the height of the bubbles is around 4 mm. Large bubbles for filling out spaces have a diameter of about 32 mm and a height of 13 mm.

Bubble wraps are normally supplied in rolls.

Advantages of bubble wraps

Bubble wraps are resistant to water and dirt so the goods can remain clean and cannot be reached by moisture. Bubble wrap has good insulation properties and have great elasticity and flexibility so they can adapt to any shape. The transparency of the film allows you to easily identify the wrapped product. Another advantage of these films is their light weight and ease of use. Unlike stretch films, you can use bubble wraps repeatedly.

Bubble wrap applications

Bubble wraps are very suitable for packaging more fragile materials, such as glass and porcelain. They are also often used for packaging furniture (e.g. with glass elements), electronics, etc.

Bubble wraps with large bubbles can be used as a filling for free space or as light padding for more fragile products.

Bubble wrap types

We supply bubble wrap in both a two-layer version and a three-layer version. In addition, the three-layer bubble wrap is also laminated. Various materials (e.g. microten, paper, and aluminum film) are used for laminating bubble wraps.

Bubble wrap envelopes

You will appreciate bubble wrap envelopes when sending smaller items by post. They protect the contents of the envelope from shocks and damage. On the envelopes, the bubble wrap is covered with a top layer of white paper.

Thanks to a self-adhesive flap on the envelopes, you can close them repeatedly.

Bubble wrap bags and blanks

Bubble wrap bags are used for packaging smaller items, such as calculators, phones and cameras. Larger bags can also be used as a sleeve for office furniture, for example.

The bags can be produced exactly according to the dimensions of the packaged product, which greatly reduces your costs.

Bubble wrap blanks save your time when packaging and allow you to easily monitor your consumption of packaging material. Blanks are easy to store and handle.
